Can I make more than 1 prediction?

Yes, you can buy/sell multiple times. All of your event-based active predictions will be reflected in the 'Open Positions' module on the event page.

What if I win the prediction?

All Vote Token positions for the winning candidate will be automatically closed at the end of the event. PnL, if any, will be distributed accordingly to your wallet balance

What is I lose the prediction?

All Vote Token positions for the losing candidate will be automatically closed at the end of the event. PnL, if any, will be accordingly deducted from your balance

Can I cancel my prediction(s?)

Predictions cannot be cancelled, however you can Sell your Vote Tokens at anytime.

Are there any fees?

A 3% fee is charged for all vote token buys/sells

Why is my share price different from the share price before I made my purchase.

Anytime that traders buy/sell vote tokens, this will affect the share price. The actual fill price of your buys/sells can change anytime vote tokens are bought/sold by other traders, before or during your prediction placement and do not include fees.

When does the event end?

The event will conclude when the 2024 U.S presidential election results have been confirmed.

Margex reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the event at any time, at our own discretion.

Will event prizes be distributed automatically?

Yes, unrealized profits from correct predictions will be automatically transferred to your corresponding wallet balance once the event has ended.

How do Predictions Works?

During the duration of this event, traders can make predictions about the results of the 2024 U.S. presidential election by buying/selling Vote Tokens (shares).

When buying vote token, participants are essentially adding liquidity to the vote token pool of the corresponding candidate, increasing its price. The opposing vote token price will be affected in the opposite way, with it's price increasing accordingly. while the price of the oppossing vote token will decrease accordingly.

The following conditions apply to all Vote Token buys/sell:

• The minimum vote token purchase amount is $10

• The Buy/Sell fee is 3%

How to Buy/Sell Vote Tokens

1. Log into your Margex account

2. Make sure that your account is funded (to fund your account see How to Deposit or Buy Crypto)

3. Click on the banner located in the top-right corner
4. On the event page, navigate to the 'Outcome' module and select your Wallet balance (USDT or USDC), preferred Candidate and Position Value:

It is important to take into account the following details:

• When buying/selling vote tokens, the amount of shares purchased/sold will be based on your Position Value ($) taking into account the 3% fee deduction.

• The Est. price, the Shares and Potential return (PnL) values (reflected in the screenshot above) are estimated values. After buying/selling, the amount of shares purchased, prices and PnL values may differ if vote tokens were bought/sold by other traders, before or during your prediction placement and do not include fees

If a trader has changed their mind about the potential results of the presidential election, or simply wants to close a position - they can Sell their Vote Token shares by clicking 'Sell' in the Open Positions module:

Event Conclusion and Prize Distribution

The event will conclude when the U.S presidential election results have been confirmed. When this occurs:

All Vote Token positions for the winning candidate will be automatically closed. PnL, if any, will be distributed accordingly, to all traders who made the correct prediction.

All Vote Token positions for the losing candidate will be automatically closed. PnL, if any, will be accordingly deducted from traders' corresponding balance.
